"Montenegro has voted for independence from its union with Serbia, according to unofficial projections.
Initial indications are that 56.3% of voters elected to secede from Serbia. The pro-independence bloc needs to win 55% of the vote to succeed." BBC
Congratulations!!!
Update: the official results give 55,5% for the independence side and calls for recount have been rised. A narrow victory indeed. Luckily, Serbia has accepted the result.

that makes more balkan countries in eurovision and a weaker serbian basketball team.
montenegro is going to have a difficult time, as al they really have going for them is the adriatic, and the construction industry, which is erecting the hotels there.
the pro-independence block has voed voters with promised of swift EU integration and moutains of "puder" from europe. the eu has repeteadly said nothing is changing just because of the referendum now.
let's see. the serbian football team at the WC in Germany has only two tsernogoran players, i do not know about the basketball team, but i doubt there were many montenegrans there.
the montenegran community in serbia is not happy with the split according to my understanding.
the serbians here just want to work on serbia now. i think many people are happy to be independent here, but many are unhappy of the way it came about.
