Milton Friedman - Requiescat in pace

A reason to blog: the year that saw Drucker pass away, now also has witnessed the death of Milton Friedman. Says Economist:
An economics giant, he not only revolutionised monetary theory, but singlehandedly did more than almost any economist in history to advance the cause of free markets. He was not merely an accomplished economist, but an accomplished popular writer; his Newsweek columns remain gems of clarity and brilliance decades later. We will not soon see his like again.
I cannot hereby help quoting my boss upon Mart Laar, two-times PM of Estonia, receiving Friedman prize in economics: "Everybody considers a big deal that our former prime minister received a prize named after economist who suggested that the government should do nothing."
